About Charlie

I have a background in environmental management and a keen eye for detail.  I have taken a solemn vow to never use tiresome corporate jargon.

I moved to Lennox Head (Nyangbal Country, Bunjalung Nation) in 2006. I worked for a local firm, GeoLINK, for seven years. In 2013 I started my own practice which I ran for nine years. In 2022 I joined Barker Ryan Stewart where it is great to be part of large experienced team. Prior to all this engineering stuff I worked in business efficiency, stormwater management, coastal resources, and marine science.  I am passionate about urban design and firmly believe that a good engineer is an environmentalist at heart - doing more with less for the common good is the aim.

As a modest gesture to my local community, I have been a volunteer ethics teacher for over 10 years.

This is a particularly flattering picture of me when I was younger.  For a more recent picture, click here.
